“I could be too an eight-hour slave, but no way. Fuck it. I’m free. I’m blocked like shit, that’s true. In fact I’m paralyzed by fear, but who said that freedom is an easy thing?”
“You’re not selling the dope to the client, you’re selling the client to the dope.”
When the everyday labor of trying to get through the glass wall is starting to be too much, when everything is unbearably alright, when we can’t stop day-nightmare-ing, then we get stoned like a gravel road.

Antal Kaludia: They aren’t nobodies!

“(…) The humor reveals firstly through the actors, in addition to the above mentioned actors, the exhausted staff of the psychiatric hospital are top-notch, sitting on the couch as puppets, bored with their work and life, ask mechanically the girl who attempted suicide, why she wanted to harm herself.”

“It also has a significant effect because, besides being full of good jokes, making you laugh a lot, it also has a bigger weight, it feeds the counterpoints better, it does not only want to amaze, it initiates a recognition process, but also manages to shake the spectator.”

“Zero turns out to be a dynamic show, with excellent actors, thanks to the variety of comic means, in a mix of expression, movement and music. When performers are not dancing or playing different instruments, they build contemporary appearances and a kind of self-ironic dolls. ”
Gergely Bori: Maybe it’s the name of some party drug, maybe it’s just a medical report: Zero
Transindex, Multikult, November 9th, 2015
„It’s a successful piece, and there are many reasons for this: the actuality of the illustrated topics/situations, excellent acting, loveable characters with whom we can easily identify ourselves, a dynamic dramaturgy, which, completed with sharp lights and clean colors, creates an expressive “trippy” atmosphere.”
Jancsó Hajnal: Zero
Kordrama, October 6th, 2015
„Botos Bálint’s piece, entitled Zero discusses the inexorable causes and possibilities of alienation caused by averageness. The characters of the piece – explicitly or implicitly – are looking for meaning and a lofty purpose in their own lives. They are trying to certify that their existence is important and unique, over-explaining themselves in front of themselves and others. Tenaciously clinging to a plan they have chosen, to a life path, to a fetus, without realizing that these are just self-serving and clumsy actions. Waiting for confirmation from others, their way of life is influenced by others, but they still believe that their life path, chosen by others, is their own.”

„A ruthless showdown with today’s pseudo-intellectual life form, with the young person who wallows on the couch all day, drinking beer and smoking, who panics when his girlfriend gets pregnant and who’s always daydreaming about his film, which he is never going to finish.”
Lovassy Cseh Tamás: Zeroth kilometer
Játéktér, Spring issue, 2015, April 9th, 2015
„It’s a special moment in the theatre when we can witness, not only the development of a character in a show, but also when, over time, a company matures before our eyes, and a creative language as well.
At The Waiting Room Project from Cluj-Napoca something similar has happened, and the best evidence for this is their recent show: Zero. We could call it 0th milestone, or a new starting point, if we accept the show presented on the 17 of December as one that would involuntarily indicate that the company had found the expression and theatrical language that suits them the best, which they assimilated, and which is the best to create something long lasting, and with this – hopefully – a new era begins at the company.”

„How to prepare for the fact that once we going to die? Answering: Botos Bálint, the director of the most recent performance of the Waiting Room Project theater company.”
Kristály Bea: Floating content
Szabadság, Campus column, January 26th, 2015
„I loved the soundtracks of the play, the way they didn’t wanted to be professionals, but just to have fun with the music in certain points of the show (of course this is not true about the Lugosi Béla Tribute Band, because for me, they sounded professional). I loved the humorous situations, which is a recurring method in the Waiting room Project plays. I loved the bright lights, the fact that everything was random colored, underlining the chaotic storyline. I loved the fact that there were no theatre curtains, and the actors waited for their part behind a plastic slaughterhouse curtain.”

“It started already? It didn’t start yet? This is already in the show? I don’t knooow.”
The latest production of the Waiting Room Project is recommended for all theater lovers, for those who are looking for humor, who want to have fun and for the masters of sarcasm too.
